'Dreamland'
Ulrike Bollenberger spent her childhood and adolescence divided between Austria and Florida. In the summer of 2014 she returned to the United States for the first time in five years –
now an adult. Her work is a visual diary candidly depicting her surroundings with a sense of wonderment, describing a world that is lush, colorful, but lost. This series is a love letter to
childhood memories.
Ulrike Bollenberger grew up fascinated with storytelling. Her participation at the Exhibition SENSITIVE VIEWING HABITS is the work of a visual diary candidly depicting her surroundings with a sense of wonderment, combined with staged scenes emphasizing recurring themes such as decadence, mortality, loneliness and sexuality. Her work describes a world that is lush, colorful, but lost - more than meets the eye.
Born in Vienna, Austria 1992. She studies photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
